Hey there! I am…
… from an apartment building where neighbors were friends.
From weekly BBQs and laughter filling the air.
I am from the "Golden State,"
warm summers outside and admiring the beauty of snow in the winter.
I am from weekends at my grandparent's and home cooking.
From a single-parent home and close family friends.
I am from prioritizing experiences together, and "we do not talk about the past."
From "I am more Black than you" and "you don't act Black."
I am from a White household filled with love.
From feeling out of place and limited cultural understanding.
*Adapted from George Ella Lyons's poem "Where I'm From..."
As a bi-racial female, I have felt like people do not understand me and box me in with assumptions. I have spent most of my adult life exploring what to keep from my childhood, what I want to change, and what I still need to learn.
My personal experience fuels my passion for sitting across from you. I am honored to be let into your story and cultivate a space where you are seen and heard. I value your unique background and experiences, including race, gender, sexual orientation, culture, faith, income, and ability, and look forward to working together.
My Approach
It all begins with you and your brave choice to say yes to therapy. Maybe you are feeling hopeless and empty. Maybe you feel restless within your body and on edge. Maybe you are looking for a space where you can talk to a peer. Or maybe you have goals for your future and finances. Whatever it is, you do not have to take it on alone.
My approach is Relational. I believe healing happens through relationships—both personal and systemic. This means exploring how your experiences of identity, connection, and safety are shaped by culture, community, intergenerational dynamics, and systems of oppression.
I don’t offer quick fixes. Instead, I show up with curiosity about the deeper patterns in how you relate to yourself, others, and your past. Therapy is a collaborative process that honors your full experience—including how you’ve adapted within systems that weren’t designed for your thriving.
In this space, we will build a relationship of trust, understanding, and acceptance. Through genuine curiosity, we will explore who you are and who you are growing to be.
